Good things come to those who wait…

Happy Friday!

When I was a little girl and I was being impatient my father used to say, “Stephanie, what’s the definition of patience?” Rolling my eyes because this was a question I would get on a weekly basis, I would reply, “waiting for good things to happen”.

A lot of good has happened in the past year from turning 30 (can’t believe I’ll be 31 in September) to getting engaged in May. Shout out to my fiance, Mike, for pulling off the ultimate surprise proposal in Boston (pictures below).

Now there is another big life-changing moment to add to 2018, we are shipping up to Boston!

Born and raised in the Berkshires of Massachusetts, I grew up idolizing Boston. To me it’s one of the greatest cities in the world and I now get to call it home.

Don’t get me wrong, New York City is incredible and I will miss many things from the amazing gluten-free food options, late night takeout to the unique, no nonsense New Yorkers I shared the island with. I have called New York City home for 6+ years. But I’m ready for a change.

Living in Boston is going to be different but an adventure. I can’t wait to see what is in store and to begin the next chapter in Boston. If you have any gluten-free recommendations, please share! I’m a little nervous it’s going to be tougher to find good-tasting, gluten-free options in Boston.

As promised, here are a few pictures from Mike’s proposal. Enjoy!

P.S. Go Red Sox!
